Right in the middle of the themed area “Bauernhof”, you will find the “Bauernschenke” restaurant. Dishes are served here that you tend to find at an old-fashioned inn. Expect to see traditional roast pork with sauerkraut and Knödel (dumplings) on the menu as well as regional specialities like succulent “Brathendl” (roast chicken) or light and creamy “Germknödel” (dumplings filled with a plum sauce). Smaller appetites will be tempted by delicacies, such as “Leberkäse” (meat loaf)-, Schnitzelsemmeln (schnitzel rolls) or Hot-Dog. Seating is provided in the large barn next to the “Bauernschenke” with views of the “Schweinchenbanh” and the Apfelflug.
